Women in Mining Western Australia

Established in 2013, WIMWA is a networking group for women working in the WA mining industry. It aims to encourage women to increase their presence in the industry by providing a forum for women (and men) to talk about their lives, share their experiences, and extend their professional networks. It also supports the industry to be proactive in attracting and retaining women in the resources sector.

Action Drill & Blast is delighted to host the next Women in Mining Western Australia (WIMWA) networking event, taking place on Friday, 14 July in Perth.

ADB is committed to supporting women in mining. We have invited two enthusiastic and motivated women from the industry to discuss their experiences, challenges, successes and future aspirations.

Kiah Appleton is employed by ADB. Kiah has held several positions with the company and continues to challenge herself with new goals.

Breanna Cameron had a number of years of industry experience prior to commencing studies for a Bachelor of Engineering Civil and Environmental. Breanna recently gained additional project-based experience working with ADB.
